Physical fitness is not appreciated in the USA educational system the way it should be. I have always thought that we were underutilizing our military assets. I think that we should have the military teach physical fittness to children when they are not on active duty. I do not like the disconnect I see between civilians and the military. Seeing the media image of the military is not always positive and I think children should understand what sacrifices the military make and how keeping fit actually improves mental health as well as attitude & self confidence.

PVTNortham Video of the Week 4 Aug 27 2008, 7:48 AM EDT by x28392

Last week had very little to do with gymnastics, but it was still pretty intense, I actually had to watch the scene from the actual movie after watching the video. This week's video is really applicable to what we are doing. The way I see it, if you can master what he is doing, then you can master balance, coordination and strength, if you can do that, you can master just about anything.
